FAQs

// THE LITTLE HOUSE //

Here to provide you with the answers you need to make the most informed decisions. Whether it's about our treatment options, pricing, or booking process, we're just a message away.

  • For most clients, I recommend scheduling a facial every 4–6 weeks. Your skin naturally goes through a renewal cycle approximately every 28 days, so regular treatments allow us to consistently support your skin’s health, address concerns proactively, and maintain long-term results.

  • To help you get the most out of your facial treatment, I recommend arriving with clean skin and avoiding excessive exfoliation, retinoids, or active ingredients for 3–5 days prior to your appointment unless otherwise instructed. If possible, avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning before your treatment as well.

    Please come prepared to discuss your current skincare routine, allergies, medications, and any skin concerns or goals you may have. This information allows me to customize your treatment safely and effectively for your skin’s unique needs.

    Most importantly, come ready to relax. Your appointment is designed to be both results-driven and restorative — a space where you can unwind while giving your skin the care and attention it deserves.

  • Whether your skin is dry, oily, combination, sensitive, acne-prone, or showing signs of aging, treatments are tailored specifically to your skin’s current condition and long-term goals.

    Some common concerns that can benefit from professional facial treatments include acne and congestion, dehydration, sensitivity, uneven texture or tone, hyperpigmentation, dullness, fine lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness, and compromised skin barrier function.

    No two clients are exactly alike, which is why every treatment begins with a thorough consultation and skin analysis. My goal is to create a personalized experience that not only helps improve the appearance and health of your skin, but also leaves you feeling relaxed, cared for, and confident in your skincare journey.

  • Choosing the right skincare products can feel overwhelming, especially with the amount of information and trends constantly circulating online. At The Little House Esthetics, I take a personalized approach to skincare recommendations based on your skin type, concerns, lifestyle, sensitivities, and long-term goals.

    During an in-person appointment or virtual consultation, we’ll discuss your current routine, what products you’ve tried in the past, and any challenges you may be experiencing with your skin. From there, I can recommend professional skincare products and a customized homecare routine designed to support healthy, balanced, and sustainable results.

    My goal is never to overwhelm you with unnecessary products, but rather to help you build a simple, effective routine that works for your skin and fits realistically into your daily life.

  • Yes—there are a few situations where we may need to adjust, postpone, or modify your facial treatment to ensure your safety and the best possible results. At The Little House Esthetics, your skin health always comes first.

    If you are experiencing an active cold sore (Herpes Simplex Virus) infection, we will need to reschedule your appointment. Additionally, if you have recently received Botox, it is generally recommended to wait approximately 1–2 weeks before scheduling a facial treatment. If you have recently used Accutane, it is advised to wait a minimum of 3–6 months before receiving facial treatments, depending on your skin’s healing and your provider’s guidance.

    Other conditions such as active infections, open wounds, or contagious skin conditions may also require postponing your appointment. Certain treatments may also need to be modified if you have had recent cosmetic procedures, significant sun exposure, or skin sensitivity concerns.

    If you’re ever unsure, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can use the contact form on the “Booking” page to ask any questions or discuss your situation before scheduling. I’m always happy to guide you toward the safest and most effective timing for your treatment.
